What does it mean when I see DA, MC, C, and SC in Canadian data?
Definitions:
DA = means the stock is in the Canadian Dividend Aristocrat index
MC = means the stock is in the Canadian Mid Cap index
SC = means the stock is in the Canadian Small Cap index
C = means the stock is in the Canadian Dividend Composite index
Because these Canadian classifications are not ordered numerically, we cannot say one is a higher index than another. Therefore, we display all the indexes that a stock resides in. It is up to you to decide if one has more importance than another.
